happy thursday! i don’t know about you, but i really can’t help myself when it comes to christmas. like, iust love the season. actually more than the day itself. i love seeing all the lights, how people are usually in a better and more cheery mood, and the act of prepping for parties and picking out gifts. am i weird that i think i like the prep more than the actual holiday(s) themselves?!
anyways, i have been stalking all of the target home + christmas decor aisles for the last few weeks as the finish their floorsets for the first round of christmas decor. let’s just say both areas of the store are TO DIE FOR. like, give me #allthethings. except my husband would have a heart attack, and there’s only so much “oh no, we had that out last year. can’t believe you don’t remember!” i can do before it seems fishy. that being said, i’ve definitely succumbed to big red round retailer and ordered some in-store pickup items that are waiting for me as i head home for the weekend. THIS. IS. CHRISTMAS!!!
i’m obsessed with all the opalhouse decor this year. having a little one running around makes me want to focus on things that are soft, brightly colored, and a touch whimsical, which is exactly what the opalhouse line offers. i’m mixing in some fur + buffalo check since those can live well into the winter and have staying power in my household.
