tarzhay thursday :: gearing up for baby

you may have noticed that i’ve been sharing a lot more baby items recently — your assumption is correct, the panic of how close this tiny human really is is setting in. i figured i’d round up all of the items we have purchased, are considering purchasing, or will purchase, today, from everyone’s favorite store to get lost in. so grab your starbucks and sit back for a list of #allthethings we are getting from target for #babypunch2.0.

nursery – decor + furniture

this buffalo check wallpaper [if you didn’t see my inspo post earlier this week, check it out here!]. joey will be wallpapering this weekend, so be sure to check my insta stories to see how that’s going. it might not be pretty, but it will hopefully be entertaining.

this crib. i went back and forth on the color for a long time, but in the end i feel like the lighter of the two is going to really pop against the wallpapered wall.

this chair. it was actually in logan’s room, but we got her the blush colored one and moved this one into the baby’s room. to say it’s a fave style of ours [mine] is an understatement. love the tufting!

this bassinet. i can’t tell you how excited i am that target started carrying some of my favorite, more expensive items. 5% off with redcard, baby!

dockatot. see above.

clothes + blankets

anything cloud island, especially the zip footie jammies.

love these swaddles, and they are big enough to use as legit blankets! SO versatile.

these burp cloths. trust me, you need a LOT.

the whole cat and jack line … the messages they have on them are adorable, and they fit really well. not to mention great quality!

i’m working on posts of best baby items to purchase [what i’d put on my registry if i was doing another registry] AND the best items for postpartum — focused on you, the mom! it’s so easy to forget that mom’s body went through something v. traumatic and get caught up in the baby, but there are so many things that make it easier to function in the postpartum period. look for those in the next few weeks!

happy thursday, friends — thanks for reading!
