festive outfits, all day, every day.

happy tuesday! now that thanksgiving is over, i’m fully embracing all the glitz, glam, and plaid that december has to offer. i’m a firm believer that you do not need to be going to a party to be able to dress festively. plaid + sequins = the perfect festive outfit. since the holiday season is so short, i want to maximize my time [more like outfits] and wear things that are festive all season long. i’ll be posting regular outfit roundups, so you guys can hold me accountable! think fur, sequins, plaid, sparkles, and flannels. sweater weather, here i come! this does not necessarily mean i need to dress up or dress fancy. i like to be comfy, cozy, and cute during the holiday season, with some unexpected touches of glam. especially now that i’m pregnant, and let’s be honest, i feel like an alien took over my body and i don’t even know who i am anymore, the more confidence i can add with my outfits the better. i also don’t post these roundups just for the sake of linking clothes – i truly want to share my style + process for putting outfits together with you guys!

i’ve rounded up some of my favorite party-ready elements for the season in the hopes that it’ll inspire you to join me in dressing for the season! i really believe that as i focus on how i dress, it totally sets the tone for my day. if i want to capture the magic of the holiday season, i need to dress like it, right?

there you have it! some of my absolute favorites that i’ve found while perusing all of my fave retailers as of late. i’m slightly obsessed with the zodiac necklace from madewell, and there’s a solid chance that is going to be on my list of gifts i give this season. other things i’m really loving? the wubby pullover from express, as well as the tulle skirt, and the athleta girl pullover [that’s right, kid section score!] i’ll be back tomorrow with a 16 week bumpdate [how am i 16 weeks along already?!], but in the meantime, have a great rest of the day! 🙂
